Welcome to Andrea Reordan Design.

Creating timeless design, with your time in mind.

Hi, I’m Andrea.

When you start a design project, it’s easy to get overwhelmed. You need a partner who can minimize the stress of home renovations; who cares about details and can solve problems. You need timeless design, from someone who knows how valuable your time is.

I have an Interior Design degree from TCU in Interior Design, years of experience, and several certifications in the industry. You can get all those details on the About page.

More importantly, though, I am an award-winning design professional who relies on systems, strategies, and protocols to successfully run your project—from consultation to full-service design. I operate with integrity and transparency to provide you with an experience that is superior to one you will find anywhere else.

Our Process

  • Every project starts with a meeting at the site to discuss scope and goals. We will tour your home and get an idea of what your design styles are (and what they aren’t), and gather every detail of what is needed to transform your spaces. We will also discuss ideal budget and timeline. If construction will be involved, we will include a qualified General Contractor so they can take measurements for a 3D model (additional cost).

  • If your redesign includes remodeling, we’ll review the 3D model from the GC so you can visualize how the changes will look walking through your home. If you like what you see, we’ll sign the proposed contracts and collect deposits. This phase is also when we meet onsite with trades contractors (like cabinetmakers) to review the design, and source and select appliances, furniture, stone, tile, lighting, hardware, paint, and other finishes. This step takes several weeks and represents a large portion of the design fee.

  • Using the selections you made in the last phase, Andrea will put together the design plan and present it to you for feedback/approval. You will review the design concept in detail, including all finish selections. We will go over what you like, if anything needs to change, and everything in between. Don’t be afraid to be honest! All proposed project costs will be reviewed and discussed, and payments for materials ordered will be collected at this time.

  • Once you have approved the designs and made all the necessary deposits, we will place the orders for your furnishings and materials. This step takes a while as some items may be backordered, delayed, or discontinued — that’s why we always have you choose alternative selections. During this phase, we are on-call for the contractors, making sure they have all the necessary drawings and plans, as well as materials. Our goal is to make sure your project progresses as smoothly as possible!

  • After construction is completed, it’s time for what we’ve all been waiting for: furnishings installation! This is the phase when the design you approved comes to life! We will be on site to assist and supervise installation, ensuring correct placement and adherence to design plans. We also provide additional staging with accessories and styling, and you can decide to keep or return what we show you! Once everything is in its place, a photographer will come to capture the final transformation. We recommend you not be present during this step — the final reveal is our favorite part!

  • The bittersweet moment has arrived — wrapping up your project. In this final phase, we do a walk-through to make sure everything meets your standards. Should any issues arise, we will resolve them as quickly and efficiently as possible. You will receive a client binder with all project-related information, including selections, product care, and more. All that’s left to do is enjoy your beautiful new space (and start dreaming of your next project)!

Awards & Recognitions

  • Andrea won the top honor in the Residential: Industry Partner category for this Transitional Kitchen project. Industry partner Expressions Home Gallery helped select a streamlined Dacor cooktop that was level with the quartzite. The impact was a more visually open kitchen with maximum cooking space.

  • Andrea won 2nd place in the Traditional/Transitional Kitchen category for this kitchen/family space in Aledo. The gorgeous redesign features new cabinetry in Sherwin Williams Snowbound and a huge island centerpiece, which brings in lots more storage, as well as color, contrast, functionality, and texture with the addition of woven counter stools. The perfect marriage of beauty and function.

  • One of Andrea’s favorite designs, this 2nd place winner in the Traditional/Transitional Dining Room category was an unused space. Andrea reimagined it as a family game room and styled it like a classic 1920s billiards parlor.

  • “We had a great experience with AR Design and would never build without a designer again! We love how everything works together!"

    Janet M., Aledo

  • “Andrea has fantastic color ideas and design advice! She has provided wonderful guidance and hand-holding as I completed my kitchen remodel.”
